Situated in London's trendy Bethnal Green, the Academy was established by Joshua Galvin (1938-2011) and Martin Kolton MBE. Joshua Galvin was the European Creative Director at Vidal Sassoon and, along with his brother, the great Daniel Galvin, he was one of the hairdressing industry’s great innovators. Joshua was known as “The Hairdresser’s Hairdresser” whose passion for education was second-to-none. Some 30 years later, that passion is still at the core of the Academy's training programmes. 

Today Joshua Galvin offer a variety of programmes; traineeships, apprenticeships, study programmes and adult learning in Barbering, Hairdressing, Customer Service, Employability and Management.
